Mickleover 95 FC is an FA Charter Standard Junior football club in Derby.

We provide an opportunity for boys and girls from 5 to 18 to learn how to play football, and to compete against other local teams in the Derby Mini Soccer League and the Derby City League.

We are determined to maintain and promote high standards of achievement, fairness and developmental training so that our members will enjoy participation in the national game.

Get involved!

We are very much a community club and welcome contributions from parents. There are always opportunities to become involved in coaching or supporting the club through providing administrative assistance.

The club committee is currently seeking new members to assist with providing strategic direction as well as supporting coaches and players in a variety of roles.

Promoting high standards

As an FA Charter Standard Club, we take Health and Safety and Child Protection very seriously. All our coaches are CRB checked and teams are required to meet FA Coaching Scheme Level 1 certification requirements.

Supporting our teams

Mickleover 95 coaches and managers enjoy the full support of the club. This includes funding for all FA Coaching training that our volunteers undertake. We also provide equipment including balls, nets, corner flags, bibs and full playing kits.

All our teams are encouraged to undertake in-season mid week training sessions and the club provides funding for the rent of suitable facilities including all weather pitches or indoor courts between October and March.

The club meets in-season costs such as pitch hire for home games, league registration and administrative fees, refereeing fees for home league and cup games.

All players received trophies at our annual awards ceremony and we also recognise a 'Players Player of the Year' and 'Manager's Player of the Year' for each team.

The club organises a unique Football Tournament each year in July which is always very well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all participants.

Support for team Managers extends to match organisation and all communication with opposing teams and the league, leaving Managers and coaching staff to concentrate on the critical part of our provision; training and developing our young people so that they gain maximum enjoyment, pride and personal satisfaction from their footballing endeavours.
